| While still a student at the Guildhall School of Music in London, Michael Davis was awarded First Prize in the International Carl Flesch Competition, the medal of the Worshipful Company of Musicians, and a Gold Medal. After further study at the Staatliche Hochschule fŸr Musik in Kšln, Germany, he made his United States debut at Town Hall, New York. He has appeared as a recitalist and soloist at Town Hall, Carnegie Hall, the Metropolitan Art Museum and with many leading orchestras. For 16 years, he has been an integral part of the festival, serving as Lancaster Festival Orchestra Concertmaster and soloist. Mr. Davis is represented by Great Lakes Performing Artist Associates. |
