| A Los Angeles native, Curtis Zimmerman's career as a mime began at age 12 working with Tommy McLaughlin, founder of the LA Mime Company. He is the recipient of the 2000 Prism Award for artistic excellence and remains actively involved with Arts in Education. Mark Abbati of "Joy Unspeakable" mime troupe has intrigued audiences for 21 years with silent communication. A Festival regular since 1998, Mark's "living statue" and "trapped in a store window" appearances on Main Street surprise and delight Festival goers. Mark performed for Ronald Reagan's campaign in Columbus and Governor Taft's inaugural ball. |
