Karen Anderson
Soprano, in the role of Turandot


Lyric soprano, Karen Anderson has received consistant praise for her operatic and concert performances throughout the United States and abroad. Most recently, she performed with the Cincinnati Opera in the role of Kitty Hart in Jake Heggie’s "Dead Man Walking".
Raúl Melo
Tenor, in the role of Calaf


This Cuban-born tenor, who won first prize in the 1992 Alfredo Kraus "Best Lyric Tenor" Competition, has toured extensively in this country and abroad in such works as Verdi's "Requiem", Mendelssohn's "Elijah", Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony," as well as a variety of other operatic concerts. An accomplished tenor, Raul has received many accolades for his performances. See why this summer in Lancaster.
Alfreda Burke
Soprano, in the role of Liu


Blessed with a voice that’s brilliant yet flexible, Alfreda Burke can do it all. And has. From movie, television, and radio appearances to musical and opera performances, Ms. Burke shows the range of a true master. Having preformed everywhere from center court at a Chicago Bulls game to center stage at Carnegie Hall, Alfreda brings her talent to Lancaster this summer.
Lancaster Chorale Festival Singers

Lancaster’s premier vocal ensemble with additional area singers selected by Artistic Director Robert Trocchia performs on opening night under the direction of Maestro Gary Sheldon.
