Tony Award-nominated artist Tony Roberts brings Broadway bravado to the Wendel Concert Stage in “A Salute to Broadway” with the Lancaster Festival Orchestra and talented singers - Anne Runolfsson, George Dvorsky and Cara Johnston. The evening ends with fantastic fireworks set to music.
  • Anne Runolfsson has performed and recorded extensively throughout the United States and Europe. She served as the standby for Julie Andrews and Liza Minnelli in “Victor/Victoria,” a role she reprised for the national tour launch. She has numerous Broadway and off-Broadway credits and was honored with the prestigious Manhattan Association of Cabaret Award for “Best Female Vocalist”. Her concert appearances have included engagements at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Radio City Music Hall and Town Hall.
  • George Dvorsky’s many Broadway credits include the title role in “The Scarlet Pimpernel” as well as performances in “Gentleman Prefer Blondes,” the Tony-Award Winning “Passion”, “Marilyn: An American Fable” and “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”. Mr. Dvorsky has performed with orchestras around the world and starred in the New York City premiere of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” at Lincoln Center, with Bea Arthur and the Boston Pops in “Bernstein’s Broadway” on PBS and in “Lady Be Good” at La Fenice Opera House in Italy.
  • Soprano Cara Johnston is equally at home on the musical theater and opera stages. Regional theater credits include “Kiss Me Kate,” “My Fair Lady,” “Guys and Dolls” and “Gypsy”. In New York, she was part of the acclaimed City Center Encores! series. Operatic credits include “La Boheme” with Chautauqua Opera, “Candide” with Opera Boston and “Little Women” with Ashlawn-Highland Festival and the Cabrillo Music Festival. Ms. Johnston has been a guest soloist with the symphony orchestras of Seattle, Portland, Omaha, Milwaukee, Baltimore, Indianapolis and Toronto.
