LHS Percussion Ensemble
Directed by Bruce Gerken, the ensemble is known for its high-energy performances of upbeat, unique arrangements of pop, jazz and standards. The ensemble and its members have received 64 superior ratings in Ohio Music Education Solo and Ensemble Contests in its 27-year history.

Cafe Concert #3 - "Player's Choice"
Favorite chamber music selections of the performing musicians are featured in this concert. The informative and entertaining Christopher Purdy from WOSU hosts. Performers include: Jiachi Huang, violin; Stephanie Koppeis, violin; Karen Johnson, viola; Andrew McIntosh, cello; and Paul Robinson, performing on the string bass and banjo.

High School Rock Band Night
For the second year, area high school students will rock downtown Lancaster. Come out and support your local favorites. One of Lancaster’s most successful local bands, the FatTones, has a new lineup including Jon Slater III and Danny Boyer on lead vocals. The band was formed in 2001.

Poetry - Open Mic
Hosted by poet, humorist and storyteller Jack Blankenship, this open forum provides a creative, public outlet for both aspiring and established poets. Mr. Blankenship has written 16 books of poetry filled with stories of friendship, family, and personal experiences.

"Magnificent Mendelssohn" with the Lancaster Festival Chamber Orchestra
Concertmaster Michael Davis began his study of music in London, where he received first prize in the International Carl Flesch Competition, the medal of the Worshipful Company of Musicians, and a gold medal of the Guildhall School of Music. After further study in Germany, Mr. Davis made his U.S. debut at Town Hall, New York. He has performed as a soloist and recitalist in leading musical centers in the eastern United States and western Europe. He is internationally recognized for championing new music. Mr. Davis has been concertmaster of the Lancaster Festival Orchestra since 1988. Michael Davis is represented by Great Lakes Performing Artist Associates.

Lt. Dan’s New Legs
One of central Ohio’s hottest hip-hop groups, Lt. Dan’s New Legs performs a danceable set ranging from Beyonce to Prince. Band members include: Amanda Lou, vocals; Hollis, vocals; Joe Connor, guitar; Matt Reedy, drums; Nick Braun, keyboards; and Van Easterday, bass guitar.
