Major Arts for Minors - Jazz with Jim Masters and The American Jazz Experience
Learn the history of jazz music with Columbus Jazz Orchestra trombonist Jim Masters and the American Jazz Experience. The five-piece ensemble takes students on a musical journey from blues and Dixieland to modern styles of jazz. Students participate by dancing the “Charleston,” scat singing and playing percussion instruments.

Community musicians – students, amateurs and professionals alike – can fulfill a dream to perform side-by-side professional musicians of the Lancaster Festival Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Sheldon. An Evening with Shawn Colvin and Livingston Taylor
Shawn Colvin
In her 15-year career, singer-songwriter Shawn Colvin has released six albums and won three Grammy Awards. Her Top 10 hit, “Sunny Came Home,” won Record of the Year and Song of the Year, two of Grammy’s biggest honors. Enjoy the folk-pop fusion as she performs an intriguing repertoire of original story-songs and interpretative cover songs spanning the Beatles to Sting.
Livingston Taylor
Pop singer-songwriter Liv Taylor has performed and toured professionally for over 30 years. He has recorded 11 albums and composed most of his repertoire, including several Top 40 hits. Mr. Taylor teaches at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and is currently artist in residence at Harvard University.
