PAUL ROBINSON

Paul Robinson is professor of double bass at The Ohio State University. He is principal bass of the Pro Musica Chamber Orhcestra of Columbus and is a former member of the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra in Washington, D.C. Robinson is an active clinician and has served on the Board of Directors of the International Society of Bassists. A student of Philip Albright, Oscar Zimmerman, and Homer Mensch, Robinson has performed under such conductors as Zubin Mehta, Pablo Casals and Leonard Bernstein.

Robinson has been a guest artist at the annual International Double Bass Encounter held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and is a guest artist annually at the Richard Davis Foundation Bass Conference. Robinson has served as New Products Editor for the International Society of Bassists and as editor of the Double Bass Forum for the American String Teacher.
