Family Concert Green Eggs and Hamadeus
July 26, 1:30 PM Ohio University-Lancaster Wagner Theatre
Watch out for the Cat in the Hat and the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss in the ballet, Green Eggs and Ham. Dancers bring to life the story of young Sam I Am and the crusty old Catty-Cat. It’s all great fun with the Lancaster Festival Orchestra members performing under Maestro Gary Sheldon. A concert bonus includes the story of Froggy Went a Courtin’, recited in song by soprano Mary Bonhag and bassist extraordinaire, Evan Premo. Come early for the musical petting zoo and have your children try their hands, or lips, playing multiple instruments.

"Aminah Robinson brings together literary, visual and musical elements in her work. The result is a kind of art that defies categorization in traditional terms and seeks to stimulate the hearts and minds of those who experience it through as many channels as possible including the visual, the auditory and the tactile."
