Second Annual Lancaster Festival 5K Road Race
The second annual 5K Road Race is a collaborative effort among the Festival, LSH coaches and parents. Come early to cheer on the runners and enjoy music, atmosphere and food vendors at Zane Square.

Lancaster Junior Womens Club Childrens Art Fair
Enjoy family fun at Saturday on the Square. Create cool crafts and enjoy food and music at the bandstand. The fair is presented for the 20th year by the Lancaster Junior Women’s Club.

Lancaster Summer Youth Band
Young musicians in grades five through nine perform under the direction of Judy Rehrer. The summer youth band has been part of the Festival for 20 years. Local musicians volunteer to coach nearly 100 students during rehearsal sectionals.

Lancaster Fairfield Youth Choir
The choir made its international debut in 1988, performing with two European children’s choirs. In 2006, the youth choir appeared with the Lancaster Chorale at the Southern Theater in Columbus and participated in the Niagara International Music Festival in Canada. This is the choir’s 14th season.

Lancaster Community Band
With 50 active members from Fairfield Country and Central Ohio, the band has presented annual spring and Christmas concerts since 1994. The group is under the direction of Judy Rehrer, a graduate of the Capital University Conservatory of Music.

One Voice
One Voice, a women's barbershop chorus with 25 members, performs the four-part a cappella harmonies distinctive to barbershop, as well as sounds of the Big Band era. Recent performances include Rushville Lion's Club Ladies Night and the annual Sweetheart Luncheon at First United Methodist Church. The group is directed by Mary Jo Stratton.

Reynoldsburg Community Band
This traditional concert band, formed in 1997, is open to all musicians high-school age and older. The group is under the direction of Christopher Dent, a Capital University graduate and director of music for Trinity Lutheran Church. The City of Reynoldsburg Parks and Recreation Department sponsors the band.

A Grand Finale with Kenny Loggins and the Lancaster Festival Orchestra
Singer and guitar icon Kenny Loggins has recorded hit songs through four straight decades, with 12 of his albums going platinum. His talent spans many musical genres, including country-rock, pop, rock and smooth jazz. The orchestra and Maestro Sheldon open the program with an exhilarating set of dance music, Footloose and Fancy Free, including music from the score to the film Footloose and Leonard Bernstein’s ballet Fancy Free.
The Lancaster Festival Orchestra, conducted by
Gary Sheldon, will open the evening and a fireworks finale concludes the 2008 Festival.
