YOUNG ARTIST FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
- Link to the Press Announcement about this program
- This project was created to bring to Lancaster, during the Lancaster Festival period, a young artist from one of
the following programs: Ohio University, The Ohio State University, or Columbus College of Art and Design.
- The goal of the selection committee was to choose an artist who would create a portfolio of work related to the artist's experience
during the two weeks of the Festival. No specific bounds of creativity were placed on the artists.
- Creation of these works will enhance scholarship and appreciation of fine arts in our community. It the intent of the committee that these
works remain in Lancaster for all to enjoy. Many works of past Young Artist Fellows can be seen at the Festival office in
downtown Lancaster.
